CXI

Adorably Hot

She lies on my lap,

Awoken, curious, and

Lost in thought as letters I tap,

As if writing a poem to her, a beauty from a distant land.

Mini-maiden is stunning, peaceful,

A bit childish yet so graceful.

Needless to mention, she is also as powerful as she claims,

Diminute not quite, perhaps tiny, a Salamander with a strong personality.

Educated is she also, delicate, polite, her flames

Red as the sun are, always burning, just like my feelings for my girl.

CXII

Lovely Like A Breeze

She hugged me from behind as she whispered,

“You, talentless poet, write about me too, please.”

Lily, I called her; she was tiny,

Pretty and kind in all the senses of the word, her eyes were shiny.

Humble and really graceful she was, lucky me, I met and pampered a Sylph.

CXIII

A Silly Story About Elementals

United at last we were, all of us;

None was left behind, who called them all was a

Divine fox of mine I call Sora, my bestie, my divine pal.

I bonded with the elementals easily since a

Note from my favorite song they heard, and danced till 3 AM.

Eventually the Salamander called a

Sylph who was resting on a chair sized for men.

She told her jokes and together they laughed,

Yet not everything was peace and fun, you see.

Leah, the Undine, and a Salamander,

Punched each other's faces,

Hurting each other out of jealousy.

Gladly they made up for it afterwards,

And a poem about this event I wrote,

Only to immortalize them in

My words, those that people will read and in the

End understand once they notice this is an acrostic.

CXIV

For Your Blue Days

If you need to vent and feel discontent,

When the feelings are overwhelming,

Grant me consent to hold your vulnerable heart.

You can cry in my arms till your tears have dried.

If between us there still is distance,

Simply imagine me by your side.

Text me or call; I'll listen, I'll support you,

But most importantly,

I'll love you more than I already do.

Feel my soul wrapped around yours;

Let our heartbeats and warmth become one.

Be filled with the comfort my soul pours.

Hug yourself, and let your arms be mine.

Inhale deeply and exhale.

In the end, everything will be just fine.

If anything, I'm always just one text away;

I'll reply as soon as I can, you know I will.

No matter the situation, we'll always find a way.

You'll never be a burden

Nor an annoyance to me at all.

So come to me and rest in the warm, fluffy clouds of my affection.

I love you, my dear.

Now, and forever, I swear to be

Your poet, your knight; Always loyal, loving, and sincere.

CXV

Alignments: Three Poems in One.

As the war between the major forces:

Law, Neutral, and Chaos ensued.

I’ve heed the discourses

Of God, Men, and the Devil, their own Truths.

I did not pick a side, an extreme of the conflict and…

I regret nothing, we live in love, peace and harmony,

I regret nothing, for they are all now under my command.

God rules with an iron fist so we all can happily coexist;

Devils fight alongside and against us, living in anarchy.

Mankind rules supreme with no strings attached.

No sin goes unforgiven,

No weakling is left alive,

God saved us all from being by desire driven.

Thou shall be strong if you wish to survive.

Picking one side means sacrificing identity,

Nobody dares to rebel, we must not,

Who needs a tyrant for a god anyway,

It wouldn’t be right to start a riot.

Chaos means unrestricted freedom, it is the way.

Neutrality grants mankind a second chance.

Brainwash is justified when order is required,

Murder is justified if survival to the fittest is the norm,

The perfect world we finally acquired.

This brand new world is for us alone to transform.

Don’t be blinded by others beliefs.

Find your way, choose and fight for your own motifs.

Let no dogma your individuality shape or steal

No matter how strong its appeal.

May mankind reign forever free

From the strings of above and below, love is the key.

CXVI

Fugly

Losing her is my greatest fear, for I'm aware,

There are billions of better-looking guys out there.

Because there are stronger and wiser guys,

Anywhere around her, and these are no lies.

There are smarter and cooler guys,

Who would boldly chase her heart like flies.

There are more useful and badass guys,

Who I fear could mean our love's story demise.

A fugly, talentless, and dumb fella,

Like myself, is doomed to read in his life's novella.

One of the coldest endings ever written by men,

Doomed to be defeated by some true poet's pen.

Having nothing to offer sucks,

And I can't even hug her when she has the worst of luck.

Distance only feeds this hopelessness and fears,

And grows stronger as I shed in despair all these tears.

I could easily be replaced by anybody,

In this big and vast world, that's the tragedy.

Unless I choose to take the reins of it,

I'll keep falling into this dark and endless pit.

The truth still remains latent

I could be replaced anyday, blatant.

I have nothing on four billion guys,

The end of my world, a threat, is all that this fact implies.

CXVII

Serious Doubts

Sometimes I wonder...

My world revolves around you,

But does yours revolve around me too?

You mean the world to me,

But do I mean the world to you? Would you disagree?

You're my favorite person, undoubtedly,

But am I your favorite person too, wholeheartedly?

You're my one and only,

But am I your one and only, or do you still feel lonely?

Are we even walking together,

Or are we walking on our own altogether?

CXVIII

The (Heart) Break

Each second apart feels like torture

One I doubt I'll get to endure.

I can't wait to read you again,

To listen to your voice again...

I'm in pain, I cry like a fool.

Tears flow, and simply fuel

The utter sadness that devoured me

Before you showed up, the one you vanished.

I need you, I miss you,

And it hasn't been a minute yet.

I have to apologize for even suggesting it,

How could I even be so stupid to do so.

This poem is not even a poem anymore.

It doesn't rhyme, it doesn't need to.

It's just a letter, a confession.

I'm in pain without you, I need you.

I love you, I want you. I miss you so bad.

What's left for me to do now

Is simply wait, cry, and keep waiting

Till we meet again and choose to leave or keep nurturing

The love we left aside to reflect

Hoping this week-long break has some positive effect.

CXIX

The Lovers

Despite all, when he fell apart,

Your kind and forgiving soul

Gently embraced his broken heart,

Though of his fears he lost control.

Listening to him, you did your part,

And with your love, made him feel whole.

You simply traverse

Life’s vast desert tenaciously,

Facing even worse,

So you held him into your heart graciously,

And wisely taught him to fall in reverse,

Id est, fall yet immediately rise, hellaciously.

In return, he wrote a poem to

Immortalize each moment

He happily spent with you,

As his world’s most important component.

His lover, a fellow human who

Became a support instead of an opponent.

He did in return

Gift you his heart,

Which in turn

Contained the essence, the art

Of unconditional, pure, and true love,

The kind people ask for, to the angels from above.

As your hearts intertwined

In a cosmic dance,

You two would learn and find

In your innocent and passionate romance

The power of love fused with a pragmatic mind,

A power worth giving a chance.

You faced heaven and hell

As you spent months together.

The both of you would excel,

Where others gave up altogether.

The key was empathy, understanding, and well,

Love, and the will to face any kind of weather.

A story that began with a letter,

Of two besties who fell in love

Without warning, and for the better,

As if planned by a force from above.

Despite distance, remain strong

For such trial ain’t for the weak.

Together you shall prove everybody wrong,

Long-distance relationships can triumph, if so both parties seek.

CXX

Demi-Bot

Horrendous poetry have I written,

For the past couple years,

And it was never one of my fears

To be told my work could be

AI-generated, you see.

Ironic is it that yesterday night,

I received an email,

That claimed in detail,

That my horrendous poems were,

In their words, “AI generated, sir.”

Such news were to me

Both hilarious and slightly offensive.

I didn’t take the defensive,

But does it mean I’m too good or too bad?

It probably is the latter, and I ain’t even mad.

I have, in fact, written all

With dictionary and thesaurus in hand,

So I know firsthand of the effort and

Time it took me to craft each single aberration.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

P.S: I made a little mistake on "A Silly Story About Elementals", the poem is an acrostic, but I misspelled GNOME as GAOME. 😅

And if you read the last letter of each sentence you get SALAMANDER.

P.S 2: In "Alignments" the sentences that rhyme with one another belong to one alignment or another, these are Neutral, Chaos, and Law.

It's heavily inspired in the three endings of the Shin Megami Tensei video game series.

Most of the time the first line belongs to Neutral; Second & Fourth to Law, Third & Fifth to Chaos. In fact, the poem begins and ends with the Neutral alignment narrating their point of view.
